Pork and Tofu Side Dish

This appetizer or side dish matches well with ice cold beer.


Ingredients:

  • 1 lb pork cubed
  • 1 lb tofu cubed
  • garlic and pepper powder
  • cups of water
  • butter melted 
Sauce: 

  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 4 tsp sugar
  • 1 small onion , diced

 

Preparations:

1. Bring the water to a boil
2. Add seasoning
3. Place pork and simmer until tender
4. Deep-fry the tofu until golden brown and crisp
5. Square tofu and pork into bite-size and set aside
6. Heat skillet and boil vinegar and soy sauce
7. Add the sugar, onions set aside in a serving bowl.
8. Serve the pork and tofu with the bowl of sauce as side
9. Match with Arroz Caldo.
